A print of my original watercolour pencil drawing of one of natures finest wild birds, a white snowy owl in flight. Available directly from the artist.

This snowy owl, captured in flight, was hand drawn in January 2017 using special water soluble colour pencils called watercolour pencils.

Using a combination of techniques this piece has literally been painted with pencils. I draw and apply the pencil with water, naturally blending together the intricate details of a pencil illustration with the vibrancy of a painting and the softness of watercolour washes.

A high resolution scan been made of the piece to produce prints, on archival textured fine art paper, of this beautiful bird of prey.
