Bearded Dragon, Lizard, Reptile watercolour pencil drawing

Art Code 0208017

A small bearded dragon pet portrait hand-drawn in watercolour pencils.

Bearded Dragon is the common name of the Pogona genus of reptiles containing eight lizard species.  The name, Bearded Dragon, actually refers to the underside of the throat, the beard, which turns black when the lizard is stressed.

They are found throughout much of Australia, in deserts and shrub lands, climbing on branches and in bushes, and near houses and dwellings.

This drawing was created on watercolour paper using Derwent watercolour pencils.
